Indo-South Korea Joint Network Center for Environmental Cyber Physical Systems

Aim

The main aim of the Joint Network Centre (JNC) is to develop a self-sustainable ecosystem to meet Indian and Korean objectives for the development of Environment Cyber Physical System (E-CPS) with a culture of collaborative efforts for the betterment of society.


Objectives

The main objectives of the JNC would be to establish an internationally renowned centre to address the various aspects of Cyber Physical System. The team of interdisciplinary experts in both nations is working in collaboration with industry and research institutes across the globe to design and develop E-CPS products, generate skilled manpower, startup ecosystems and establish a centre with international collaborators. The objectives of the JNC are:


Human Resource Development through:

  • Joint Workshops for students, faculty and industry personals across the country.

  • Joint PhD between the institutions.

  • Development of UG/PG level courses and its adoption in partnering institutions in both the countries.

International Collaborations through:

  • Technology and product development.

  • Trained and skilled manpower development.

  • An ecosystem to submit the IP, copyright, publications and patents.

Prototype/Product Development through:

  • To develop the workable and field-tested prototype/products.

  • To publish patents/publications from each institution.



Start-Up Ecosystem in ECSP:

  • An start-up ecosystem is expected to be developed in both countries to bridge the lab to commercialization for the development of Environment Cyber Physical System (E-CPS).

  • The JNC is expecting to develop low cost devices for rural empowerment.
